Arriving to Rome

One of our welcoming team members will meet you in front of the apartment and welcome you to the apartment: Provide a guided tour of the space, and walk you through everything you need to know for a great stay.

For the smoothest check-in, please provide us your direct email, flight details, arrival time in Rome (if you haven't already done so), and your preferred way of transportation from the choices below:

Travel time to/from Ciampino or Fiumicino airport is about 40 minutes, depending on the traffic.

TRAIN from the airports to the apartment: Your apartment is centrally located in Rome, and the station you will need to reach is Termini. The train costs €14 per person, and from there, a taxi would be under €15. The total travel time is about 1 hour (although there are normally large queues for the said taxis.)

TRANSFER (recommended)

We can arrange an airport transfer with one of our drivers if you need a ride.

-The standard taxis will only save you about €12 but often come with long taxi queues and unexpected baggage fees, so the transfer is worth considering :)

-We’ll stay in touch with the driver about your landing and arrival time at the apartment to avoid problems due to delays.

-Our driver will be waiting for you, even if your flight is delayed, and will meet you at the arrivals hall by the large sign that reads "MEETING POINT", he will be holding a tablet with your name on it. (Please keep us informed of any delays as they happen),

-1 Way - Mercedes town car service (Airport -->Apartment) costs €70 and can accommodate up to 4 passengers, 1 large suitcase, and 2 carry-on bags.

-2 Ways - Mercedes town car service (Airport < --- > Apartment) costs €135 in total (your return is calculated with a discounted price of €65).

-For larger groups and luggage, you can prefer a Mercedes van for up to 6 passengers, or a larger van for up to 8 passengers, starting at €100 one-way.

-For car seats, let us know in advance—it's free of charge.

PARKING

Parking in the city center can be challenging and limited, and many areas only allow cars with special permits to drive within the center. If you have a rental car that you no longer need, I recommend returning it to the rental agency before arriving at the apartment. If you’ll keep your rental car or are arriving in your vehicle, I suggest looking for metered parking along Lungotevere (the Tiber River). Or better yet, you can park in a nearby car park.
